DISCOVER

  • For students who aren’t sure about what they want to do in the future or aren’t sure where to start.
  • Includes a Morrisby assessment – a psychometric test that identifies strengths, interests and motivators. Our advisors will provide full analysis of the results.
  • Provision of a detailed report and action plan which includes suggestions for potential careers that may suit you and your individual talents and preferences, options for routes into employment and next steps to take.

£150 for the Discover package

EXPLORE

  • For students who have an idea of what they want to do but aren’t sure what is required to pursue their chosen career.
  • Does not include Morrisby assessment, but our careers advisors will be able to find out more about your personality and preferences during the session.
  • Provision of detailed report and action plan which includes potential routes into employment, information about the skills, qualifications and experience needed for a particular career and areas to research.

£120 for the Explore package

TRANSITION

  • For students who know what they want to do and are keen to develop the skills needed to succeed in their chosen career.
  • Does not include Morrisby assessment, but our careers advisors will be able to find out more about your personality and preferences during the session.
  • Provision of detailed report and action plan which includes guidance on improving employability skills, like CV writing and interview techniques, and the skills specific to your chosen career.

£100 for the Transition package.

Who we are

Form the Future are a Cambridge-based social enterprise who believe that every young person should have the opportunity to fulfil their potential and move from education into a rewarding and successful career. We work with students aged 8–18 from schools and colleges across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties.

In addition to providing our impartial careers advice service, we run events to improve students’ employability skills and awareness of careers and routes into employment, provide a mentoring scheme with inspiring business professionals, support schools with work experience placements and manage Cambridge LaunchPad, a unique STEM outreach programme.
