CAREERS ADVISORY SERVICE

WE EMPOWER YOUNG PEOPLE TO MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS

Since the end of a government-funded careers service, much of the information students receive about careers is provided by non-specialist school staff. Parents, peers and teachers are sources of influence too, but this advice can be based on out-of-date attitudes or reinforce patterns of underachievement.

We are able to provide an impartial, one-to-one careers advice service that many schools across Cambridge asked for. Our dedicated Careers Advisor is a Level 6-qualified careers guidance professional, and can offer up to three days per week with your students, or as little as one or two days per month.

Meeting with our Careers Advisor can enable young people to gain a better understanding of the options and opportunities available to them, and the steps they will need to take to pursue a specific career or industry. They can also help with completing UCAS, apprenticeship or job application forms.

Please contact us if you would like to find out more about our careers advisory service and arrange for our Careers Advisor to meet your students. We are currently exploring a service that will allow parents to book sessions with our Careers Advisor directly.
