Fundraising success for Arthur Rank Hospice!

Form the Future CIC are very proud to support Arthur Rank Hospice and the incredible work they do in our local community. Every year they care for more than 3600 people in Cambridgeshire living with a life-limiting illness and those who need end-of-life care.

We recently took part in their Accumulator Challenge where each team is given £50, courtesy of sponsors ARM. who also support our STEM outreach programme, Cambridge LaunchPad as Founding Partners. The aim of the Challenge is to multiply that initial investment into as much money as possible through entrepreneurial activities between 1 October and 31 December 2018. To date, this exciting fundraising initiative has generated more than £87,000 towards our patient care and seen over 90 teams take part since it began five years ago.

We invested our £50 seed fund to bake delicious homemade treats including Rudolf shortbread, carrot cake cupcakes, salted caramel brownies and Christmas spiced biscuits. We then set up shop at the Future Business Centre in Kings Hedges to host a Christmas bake sale and raffle. Thanks to our old neighbours at FBC, we raised over £330 for the charity!
