ENTERPRISE DAY AT ELY COLLEGE
180 Students from Year 8 (secondary)
Event Description
The purpose of this day is to get year 8 students to start to think about their futures and to consider what’s involved in running a business, being an entrepreneur, particularly regarding the skills and behaviours that lead to success. Of course, they are only aged 12-13, so we can’t expect anything watertight, but it’s a great time to encourage imaginative thinking about jobs and their futures. It is a chance for them to learn more about business, namely the 5 Ps of Product, Price, People, Place and Promotion, and to have a go at creating a business idea.
