ABOUT OUR MENTORING SCHEME
HELPING US FORM THE FUTURE
As our Mentoring programme enters its second year after a successful pilot, it has the potential to make a real difference to the lives of young people in our community. This year nearly 100 students from eight schools will be matched with a mentor.
Mentors can provide the one-to-one support that helps students find a new sense of purpose, motivation and direction.
Mentors will meet their mentee at school once a month, on dates arranged in advance by the school.
Mentors will undertake an enhanced DBS check and attend a training session before the mentoring starts. There’s lots of support and it’s very rewarding work.
If you want to be a Mentor and can commit to a 12-month programme, we will send you an application which will help us match you with the right mentee.
